A favorite past time of my kids, especially our first born is to create things out of junk. By junk I mean clean recyclables. What sparks more creativity than a bunch of odd sized plastic and cardboard! The kids love it and it's a project that can continually be worked on. When they finish constructing the art they can then decorate it with small objects or paint it. It is a lot of fun and I always enjoy watching what they come up with. This is another great rainy day activity. Here are a few masterpieces the kids have made:
